I did create a fine version of ‘What About Bob (1991). I removed Handbrake Version 1.0.1 and backed up. You always had to enable Advanced Tab in two places and I guess for some people having Advanced a little harder to find may in fact be a GOOD IDEA! I assure you if you will stick to my settings nothing in the Advanced tab will get you into trouble - guaranteed or your money back. The two versions of Handbrake are ‘almost’ identical. A suite full of test equipment may confuse an issue that your eyeballs could sort out in moments. You might like them, but you will have to use your eyeballs to make what is surely a ‘judgement call’. I can tell you that 8 reference frames is a load of fresh and exceptionally fragrant horse nuggets, because that will refuse to direct play on at least two of my devices at 1080p. I can not comment on settings someone else thinks are ‘good for me’ (ever heard of Plex?), when I have already decided what is ‘good for me’ and the devices in my lineup. I fully expect the same, reliable direct playable material I always get with my settings above. I loaded an HD job I have ‘On Deck’ into my trusty Profile I created only a moment before, checked what I normally check (cropping, audio, etc - also noted above), changed the bit rate to 2400kbps (because this piece of junk I’m working on barely even deserves that much), pressed Start and in about 90 minutes we’re going to find out how it did. They Lie as they try to sway you from the path of righteousness in the quest to become one with your visual material! (lol) I share (or try to) with you that which I have already found as the undeniable truth. I have trodden this steep, mountainous path before ye. I do not have to run endless tests for a suitable constant quality setting and pray for success. I blow right by them and attack the meat and potatoes in the Advanced tab. As I explained in unbelievably painful detail above I do not use those kindergarden ‘speed’ settings. I kept closing them until I reached ‘Legacy’ and quickly created a User Preset to match the images above and saved a new User Preset. Yes, I saw the new interface and all those useless ‘profiles’ in the right pane. Version 0.10.5.0 can easily be downloaded here: With ALL versions after 0.10.5.0 it is impossible to create a file from DVD at 480p for use in Plex that properly reports it’s resolution. It is written for a Handbrake version that is no longer acceptable for that task. I installed that hunk of junk on my other terminal and to my horror they have removed Custom Anamorphic Settings for all versions after 0.10.5.0 My guide is for creating material that will work well with Plex. A typical movie on either of my machines takes between 1.5 to 2 hours which I’m perfectly fine with. I’m also using 2-pass with the first pass being turbo ABR 4000kbps VBR. I’m using the"Slower" setting with profile 4.1 and that translates into 8 Reference Frames for a 480p DVD conversion. Maybe you could just chime in about these new options. Plus in the next few months I will be moving to a home that has FiOS! So 300/300Mbps will allow for upstreaming at pretty much whatever quality users said: So that’s why I’m trying to match the “bitrate per pixel” quality of Blu-ray for my DVD re-codes. The only reason I don’t use the original MKV with DVD’s is because of what I said previously. So since Blu-ray is already H.264, and all my local playback devices can play the high bitrate, I use them in their original form. So creating a second lower bitrate version of the same movie only uses more disk space in my case. Film, Animation, etc.Īlso, I keep ALL my original MKV’s. When I said DVD filters what I meant was X264 tunes. I also have a lot of trouble watching a 30Mbps stream on my phone at the doctor’s offfice through my 6Mbps upload speed. Then the first thing that happens is Plex transcodes it down to about 5Mbps and I just laaaaaugh and laugh. ‘Hey man, I’ve simply got to have that original quality!’ I can get a whole lot more 3.5 gig movies on disk than I can 30 giggers and if I can’t see the difference - what the hey? I’m busting the snot out of Free State of Jones right now down from the 30 gig original MakeMKV rip through Handbrake at 3500Kpbs and they’ll both look exactly the same to me. I love creating Blu Ray rips at less than a quarter the size and bit rate and not be able to see one bit of difference. My exact settings are painfully detailed at that link complete with pictures at the bottom. VBR… always, with an average bit rate, always.

Poor Trent has had to take some time away following the events of SEAL Team Season 5 Episode 8.Īt some point, Jason will be filled in about everything that's going on, and it will be difficult to watch his struggle hit dizzying new heights when he understands the true extent of what happened. Jason is not a bad man, but his struggle to get help or set boundaries hurts his team members. Tell ya what, instead of a marathon, how about a 10k? Mandy: Doesn't have to be a marathon every time. Ancestral Power increases the chance of effects being applied to another entity. Angelic and Demonic Power alter the duration of beneficial and negative effects respectively. Diablo IV introduces three new attributes: Angelic, Demonic, and Ancestral Power. Defensive stats include elemental resistance and defense which increase how much damage can be taken. Offensive attributes include attack and critical chance which increase damage output. The playable character's effectiveness in combat is determined by their attributes and their boosts from equipped items. In order to achieve this, the plot revolves around the simple folk of Sanctuary rather than "politics, kings, or another high-fantasy theme." Ĭreative director Sebastian Stepien explained that the goal was to create a more "grounded" story than Diablo III. To differentiate between them, they have unique silhouettes, stances and weapons. Each family contains different archetypes that hold different roles allowing for synergies of specialty abilities between family members. Enemies are split into monster families which are defined by a theme, combat style, and their location. This concept is used to progress through the story and quests. Enemies are fought using different character class skills which can be customized by equipment and talent trees. The core formula for the series' gameplay revolves around gradually obtaining stronger equipment by defeating increasingly difficult enemies. It can get monotonous at times, and is a game that only devoted micro-managers will be successful at. Overall, Yoot Tower is an excellent game of business management that is not for the easily frustrated. The more stars you have, the more items you can build. If you make them happy, your tower gets bumped up a Star rating. As in SimTower, your tower will be rated every time you get a visit (always unannounced) from VIP's who will evaluate your facilities. Kegon Falls, for example, attracts floods of tourists during the summer but is eerily quiet during the winter (that's when you'll start worrying about whether your fixed costs are too high). To add more flavor than tower building in a nondescript location, Yoot Tower includes 3 different real-world locations (Hawaii, Tokyo & Kegon Falls), each with different conditions for success, different costs and sources of revenue, and unique attractions. You now have various seasons which affect number and types of residents throughout the year. There are numerous other improvements to the basic gameplay. Should a Mexican Restaurant go here here, or maybe instead a Fashion Boutique? Perhaps a Book Store or a Barber Shop? At what floors should my large elevators stop? How many housekeeping units can I get away with? Where's the best place for a cigarette vending machine? If I have ten offices per floor, how many elevators do I need? How much should I be charging for rent on a deluxe apartment in the sky? Next thing you know, you've suddenly got a 120-floor madhouse, hundreds of picky residents and only a few hours before dawn when the real-life you have to get ready for work. There are hundreds of variables you need to take into consideration. Not only is Yoot Tower addictive, it's also very difficult due to more complex AI, additional challenges, and hundreds of different kinds of rooms you can build and innumerable options for each. You can also alter menus in the many and various restaurant types, and even choose what kinds of movies are shown. You can stick a microphone in the face of people down in the lobby, for example, to find out what they think about the place. Theme Park), the residents now really seem to have minds of their own. The AI of residents is noticeably much better than SimTower: the effects of your actions are reflected much more realistically in the game. But Yoot Tower lets you name and add them to a favorites list to locate them in an instant, to see what they're up to, how much money they've got, and how happy they are with their environment. Just about the only thing that remains the same is the fact that you don't control who moves in. Yoot Tower (so named after its creator, Yoot Saito) sports numerous improvements over SimTower, making the game much more of a game than a toy that SimTower was. Lots of parking and great shops and restaurants couldn't hurt either. A happy Sim resident gets enough business to make a profit, has an easy route to get to work and not too many people clogging the hallways and elevators. Your goal is still the same as SimTower: build a high-rise that offers your residents a "stress-free" environment. Similar to the first game, Yoot Tower was much more popular on the Mac than it was on the PC, probably due to the fact that both games were coded on a Mac and released for that platform first. Yoot Tower is a much-improved sequel to Maxis' tower-building classic SimTower. 512–517Random Forest in Splice Site Prediction of Human GenomeElham Pashaei, Mustafa Ozen, and Nizamettin AydinDOI: 10.1007/978-3-7_99pp. 507–511Comparing Genomic Network Methodologies: A Combined Approach for Cancer PrognosisStayroula Tsakaneli, Ekaterini S. The bomb, weighing 27 metric tons, was so large (8 metres (26 ft) long by 2 metres (6.6 ft) in diameter) that the Tu-95V had to have its bomb bay doors and fuselage fuel tanks removed. Both aircraft were painted with a special reflective white paint to limit heat damage. Taking off from an airfield in the Kola Peninsula, the release plane was accompanied by a Tu-16 observer plane that took air samples and filmed the test. The Tsar Bomba was flown to its test site by a specially modified Tu-95V release plane, flown by Major Andrei Durnovtsev. Shortly after the Tsar Bomba was detonated, Sakharov began speaking out against nuclear weapons, which culminated in his becoming a dissident. The components were designed by a team of physicists headed by Academician Yulii Borisovich Khariton and including Andrei Sakharov, Victor Adamsky, Yuri Babayev, Yuri Smirnov, and Yuri Trutnev. There was a strong incentive for this modification since most of the fallout from a test of the bomb would have ended up on populated Soviet territory. This eliminated fast fission by the fusion-stage neutrons, so that approximately 97% of the total energy resulted from fusion alone (as such, it was one of the "cleanest" nuclear bombs ever created, generating a very low amount of fallout relative to its yield). To limit fallout, the third stage and possibly the second stage had a lead tamper instead of a uranium-238 fusion tamper (which greatly amplifies the reaction by fissioning uranium atoms with fast neutrons from the fusion reaction). The initial three-stage design was capable of yielding approximately 100 Mt, but it would have caused too much radioactive fallout. There is evidence that the Tsar Bomba had several third stages rather than a single very large one. A three-stage H-bomb uses a fission bomb primary to compress a thermonuclear secondary, as in most H-bombs, and then uses energy from the resulting explosion to compress a much larger additional thermonuclear stage. This is equivalent to about 1,350–1,570 times the combined power of the bombs that destroyed Hiroshima and Nagasaki, 10 times the combined power of all the conventional explosives used in World War II, or one quarter of the estimated yield of the 1883 eruption of Krakatoa, and 10% of the combined yield of all nuclear tests to date. The Tsar Bomba was a three-stage Teller–Ulam design hydrogen bomb with a yield of 50 to 58 megatons of TNT (210 to 240 PJ). Ī Tsar Bomba-type casing on display at Sarov The term "Tsar Bomba" was coined in an analogy with two other massive Russian objects: the Tsar Kolokol (Tsar Bell) and the Tsar Pushka (Tsar Cannon). Many names are attributed to the Tsar Bomba in the literature: Project 7000 product code 202 (Izdeliye 202) article designations RDS-220 (РДС-220), RDS-202 (РДС-202), RN202 (PH202), AN602 (AH602) codename Vanya nicknames Big Ivan, Tsar Bomba, Kuz'kina Mat'. Neither of these casings has the same antenna configuration as the device that was tested. The remaining bomb casings are located at the Russian Atomic Weapon Museum, Sarov (Arzamas-16), and the Museum of Nuclear Weapons, All-Russian Research Institute of Technical Physics, Snezhinsk (Chelyabinsk-70). Only one bomb of this type was ever officially built and it was tested on October 30, 1961, in the Novaya Zemlya archipelago, at Sukhoy Nos. The famous Russian idiom, which has been problematic for translators, literally meaning “to show somebody Kuzka's mother”, equates roughly with the English “We’ll show you!” Developed by the Soviet Union, the bomb had the yield of 50 to 58 megatons of TNT (210 to 240 PJ). It was also referred to as Kuz'kina Mat' ( Russian: Кузькина мать, Kuzka's mother), referring to Nikita Khrushchev's promise to show the United States a "Kuz'kina Mat'" at the 1960 United Nations General Assembly. Its Octotest remains the most powerful artificial explosion in human history. Tsar Bomba ( Russian: Царь-бомба "Tsar Bomb") is the nickname for the AN602 hydrogen bomb, the most powerful nuclear weapon ever detonated. The crown of the cloud is 56 km (35 miles) high at the time of the picture. The Tsar Bomba mushroom cloud seen from a distance of 160 km (99 miles). The app provides a Instrument drop down panel and you can choose the one you want to play: piano, harpsichord, celesta, glockenspiel, music box, marimba, vibraphone, xylophone, tubular bells, dulcimer, accordion, harmonica, guitar, bass, viola, cello, violin, trumpet, trombone, tuba, French horn, flute, whistle, banjo and much more. For your convenience, General MIDI Player will also display the keys on the virtual keyboard. Noteworthy is that in QWERTY mode you have the option to shift the mapped keys up or down an octave by using the arrow indicators placed in the Input panel. You are able to play the instruments using your keyboard, your mouse or a MIDI device (General MIDI Player is able to deal with both software and hardware MIDI devices). General MIDI Player comes with a small and very intuitive user interface where you can select the input / output devices and the instrument you want to play. Take into account that General MIDI Player is designed to help you play instruments and will not open MIDI files. General MIDI Player enables you to play a wide collection of MIDI instruments from your Mac due to the built in General MIDI support. |
